At the Friday event in January, Dylisha Murphy shared her cautionary story to youth who can face similar choices. She described the self-destructive choice of selling drugs versus the challenge and uphill battle for employment and stability. Although she took full responsibility for her choices, she noted her parents’ drug involvement and the risks and challenges that posed for her.
